Grandville Lodge is an independent, family-owned care home provider specialising in dementia, our aim is to provide professional and compassionate care for our residents. We pride ourselves on our high standards of care and as such ensure each member of staff and all residents are treated with dignity, respect, compassion, kindness and without discrimination. Residents can expect to receive care based on their individual needs and choices, this will be their home and they will be able to treat it as such.

We understand that moving to a care home can be an unsettling and disruptive time for families. Our trained staff with years of experience will help guide you and your loved one through this period of transition and support you with any on-going questions or needs. Families and friends quickly become part of the ‘Grandville Lodge family’ who are always here to help. As a reflection of this, there is no set visiting times – this is our resident’s home and loved one’s are free to visit whenever they wish. This high level of commitment doesn’t just stop at 5pm. There is also a full-time, around the clock team who can offer the consistency of care through the night.
A full and busy life
We strive each day to enrich our resident’s lives with fun activities, balanced meals, and nurturing care. At Grandville Lodge we believe that you are what you eat, nutrition and hydration form a key part in maintaining a good healthy body and mind. We create balanced, delicious meals freshly prepared every day by our chef that help play a protective role in a range of age-related conditions including Dementia. If your loved one has specific allergy or dietary requirements, our catering team will ensure all meals are tailored for you and suitable to your needs. At Grandville Lodge our activity co-ordinator arranges a full and broad range of activities to suit all tastes. Anything from film evenings and singers to animal therapy and armchair Zumba. We also have a range of hair and beauty treatments available in our in-house salon along with a visiting Chiropodist. There is always something going on to stimulate and be involved with. However, we do understand our residents like to enjoy some peace and quiet too so there is always the opportunity to take some time out in our lovely garden room. Great for meeting families and taking in the lovely, landscaped gardens or just relax in their warm and well-appointed room.
